I've been a part of Santa Cruz' Emerald Street Writers critique group for about two decades. Every two weeks we meet at someone's house, enjoy a bit of wine and sundries, listen to each other's latest poems – for both enjoyment and refinement. A decade ago we published an anthology, entitled Harvest From The Emerald Orchard, but it's been awhile since our poems were gathered all together. So it was with great pleasure that Jory Post, editor of the phren-Z Online Literary Journal, devoted the Fall 2016 issue to our group.
